In order to deliver a living bio-active whole food that is easily utilized at the cellular level and unadulterated, we have found that dry powders, capsules of dry foods or herbs and tablets fail to provide optimal nourishment. Tableting nutrients involves granulation and heat that denatures and deactivates nutrients present in the raw plant material and most powered herbs or superfoods go moldy fast having a very short shelf life.

   To maintain the integrity of the whole food concentrates and botanicals, we use the wisdom of nature that via a fermentation process yields fine wines, vinegars, and soy sauces. We avoid pasteurization, cold pressing or expeller-pressing pressing of raw seed oils, with resultant heat damage and rancidity, as well as other techniques commonly used in the industry that destroy vital nutrients.

    We absolutely do not use fillers, flowing agents or binders in our products. No harmful magnesium stearate, commonly used as a lubricant on tableting machines, or any toxic pharmaceutical glaze is used on tablets.      Dr. Yanick’s research on commensal cells (probiotic cells) found that they are astonishingly adaptive natural nutrient factories dedicated to making the highest quality nutrition and nourishing the entire body. When plentiful, they rid the body of cutthroat competition from food-borne infections and unwanted pathogens.

    The nourishment provided by commensal cells provides the material basis for transforming and creating states of QH can transform a whole food nutrient into a synbiotic-foodgrown™ nutrient that nourish and fortify the body’s innate regenerative and recuperative capacities. Maldigestion. It’s the number one reason patients do not respond to dietary and nutritional management. Digestive enzymes do not even come close to the digestive output of a healthy body and serve no purpose other than to digest and erode the body’s gut linings.

   Since 90-95% of the cells in the human body are commensal organisms, functioning as the strong arm of immunological defenses, Dr. Yanick discovered that using pre- and synbiotic nutrients and specific probiotic strains allowed these beneficial organisms to proliferate and flourish in the body.  Since they assist the immune system in immunological warfare, they can minimize the spread of opportunistic infections and cancer cells. The majority of probiotic products cannot accomplish this feat. They lack the key nutrient synergists to “switch on” their “riboswitches” which scientists have shown can regulate human nutriture (Nature 419:952-56, 2002; RNA 9:6; 644-47, 2003; Science, 2006; 312:1355-9). Recent scientific research supports Dr. Yanick’s original research on how commensal cells “…craft the hundreds of elaborate molecules required to replicate itself” and  “…assemble the protein machinery that accelerates and organizes the chemical steps of metabolism necessary to build a new cell from scratch” (Nature Biotechnology in press, 2007; Scientific American 296:1, 2007).  

     Genetically speaking, commensal cells contain 100 times more genes that human cells. This rich genetic endowment by nature gives them the remarkable ability to “heighten one’s disease fighting capacity” (Scientific American, Aug 1992). Laboratory evidence reveals how commensal produce acids, anti-infection compounds and hydrogen peroxide to kill harmful yeast and bacteria in the gut and interfere with their ability to produce harmful toxins that cause pain and inflammation in our bodies (Gut, 2003; 52:827-33).

     Nutrients created in a natural fermentation process open the lock and thereby take the place of the natural key that is missing in synthetic USP vitamins or inorganic non-covalent/ionic minerals. In reality, no nutrient in nature is ever isolated or separated from their nutrients. Unlike enzymes and whole food nutrients synbiotic nutrients are much smaller: the molecular weight is about 250 daltons (a dalton is equal to one twelfth the mass of carbon 12, the most abundant isotope of carbon), whereas the weight of horseradish peroxidase is about 40,000 daltons and the weight of whole food nutrition is about 60,000 daltons. Hence, the versatility and reactivity of this form of human nutritive is superior to eating raw foods or taking other forms of nutritional support. The use of co-proteins and ligands as carrier agents has been researched extensively by the pharmaceutical industry as a way to deliver drugs more efficiently to cell receptor sites (Science 291:5501: 48-49, 2001;Trends in Pharmacologcial Sciences, 20:9, 370-75; 1999; Cellular Signaling. 14:4; 297-309, 2002).

   Extraordinary properties of human nutriture arise as scientists draw inspiration from nature to produce nutrients on the nanometer scale with co-proteins and ligands so that the sick patient can get nourishment thousands of times faster then eating whole foods or other forms of nutrition. These 250 dalton catalysts can boost chemical reaction rates a billion fold. And, unlike USP vitamins, synbiotic nutrients—formatted correctly with co-protein and ligand carriers—can breakdown a variety of toxic compounds that are omnipresent in our environment.

    Making synbiotic nutrients from whole food concentrates was not easy. It required a painstaking four-step design process that allowed ligands and co-proteins to bond to the nutrients at extremely low molecular weights.
